Cake:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
5 Tbs. cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix sugar & flour, set aside. In sauce pan, boil water, butter and cocoa. Pour over sugar mixture and mix. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured jellyroll pan. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Frosting:
1 stick butter
4 Tbs. cocoa
6 Tbs. milk
16 oz. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Boil butter, cocoa and milk. Remove from heat and gradually add in sugar. Add vanilla. Frost when cooled.
